Chris Hatfield works at Bender Lumber Company. He has been involved with the MCBA since 2005, and is looking forward to being more involved with the Association. The formative years of Chris’s career in building came from the time spent working for his grandfather, Bill Hatfield Owner of Hatfield Building Contractor, a well known custom home builder on the far west side of Indianapolis.
Chris' son Will enjoys riding his bike and doing everything daddy does. Chris is married to his best friend Emily, and their son Max enjoys simple pleasures in his early life.
Occasionally Chris gets to enjoy the golf course or wading a cool stream in search of trout.
Mike is a co-owner and partner in Patriot Interiors and Presidium General Contracting & Management.
Born in Bloomington, Mike has grown up in the Building Industry. His father, Larry Baker, is a well-known custom home builder in the Bloomington area. Both Mike and his father are Past Presidents and State Directors of the MCBA.
Mike has made a commitment to take all three companies to a new level by building energy and environmentally friendly products, based on Energy Star and L.E.E.D. concepts, both in commercial development and residential homes. Mike is also a certified Touchstone Builder through R.E.M.C.
Mike is married with two children, Gabrielle and Carson. Mike’s wife Lia is also a very accomplished business owner in Bloomington. Lia owns The Prep School, a school for children three to six years old.
In Mike’s leisure time, he enjoys boating, diving, golfing, and spending time with his family and friends.
Nancy
Baldwin, Executive Officer Prior to joining the MCBA Nancy worked in the social services field for 16+ years.
Nancy has two master’s degrees, from Indiana State University (MMFT) and Indiana Wesleyan University (MBA).
She and her husband have two daughters, MaryLynn and Brette (both attending Ball State).
Jeff is the Executive Director of the Boys and Girls Club of Bloomington.
Nancy is energetic and enthusiastic, with organizational skills that are second to none.

Beard, Secretary-TreasurerBen Beard is the owner of The Gentry Group and co-founded it in 1987. Ben is a lawyer and a CPA. The Gentry Group consists of the Gentry Real Estate Company and Gentry Construction Company. He is very active in the Monroe County Builders Association. He has been our Secretary/Treasurer for numerous 2 year terms and a board member for many years as well.

Martha Shedd is Project Manager for Building Associates, Inc. She graduated from DePauw University where she was a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. She holds a Master Certificate in Project Management from Villanova University as well as the Project Management Professional designation from the Project Management Institute.
Martha spent 15 years with Schurz Communications/Hoosier-Times, Inc., starting her career in Bedford where she was active in the community serving on the Chamber of Commerce, Girls Club, Tourism Commission, and Mental Health Association boards. Her tenure with Hoosier-Times, Inc. culminated as Bloomington-based Classified Advertising Manager for the five Southern Indiana properties.
Martha is active with Habitat for Humanity of Monroe County, where she serves as Chair of the Women’s Build Committee and as a crew leader. She also enjoys running marathons or a good golf scramble.
Jason and his parents own and operate The Vacuum Center with 2 locations, in Bloomington and Bedford.
Jason became active with the MCBA in 2006 when they had their first booth at the Home Show. Every year since then he as increased the size of his booth and now he Co-Chairs the event.
Jason and his wife Carrie have 2 active little boys.
Michael Corns is vice-president/co-owner of Tommy D’s Windows, Doors and More, Incorporated. He has been with the company since it’s inception in 1995.
Michael was born and raised in Greene County, Indiana and is a 1992 graduate of Vincennes University with an associates degree in Building Materials Technology. He, his wife and their three children reside in Bloomington and are involved in community organizations and activities. In his spare time, Michael enjoys running and coaching his children’s baseball and basketball teams.
Tom Fuller is President of T.A. Fuller Homes, Inc. which he started in 1999. He is a State Life Director with the Indiana Builders Association and the IBA Builder Area Vice President for Area 6. He has served on the MCBA Board in several capacities over the years.
Tom has been married to Teresa since 1984 and they have a daughter named Tara. Tom loves boating, water skiing and he and Tara are certified scuba divers. Tom’s other love besides family is classic muscle cars.
Glenn Harris is owner and founder of Harris Services. Glenn started his business in 2004 and has over 22 years of experience in the profession. He holds certifications in Structural Drying, Textile Cleaning (hardwood, tile), Color Repair, Water Damage Restoration, Upholstery & Fabric Cleaning, Fire & Smoke Restoration and Carpet Cleaning. In addition to these services Harris Services also cleans Air Ducts.
Glenn is a long time resident of Bloomington (since the late 1970's) and has enjoyed serving in the Bloomington community over the years. He has been a member of the MCBA since 2005 and The Northside Exchange Club since 2004.
Glenn has been married to Beth for over 25 years and they have 2 children, Josh and Ashley. In his spare time Glenn enjoys camping with his family and friends and attending IU sporting events.
Mark Sovinski, MemberMark Sovinski is a 30 year Bloomington resident and an Indiana University graduate. He met his wife Patty in Bloomington, and his son Nick and daughter Taylor attend Bloomington High School North.
Mark is co-owner of G&S Homes, which has built more than 300 homes and apartments since 1985. They have also developed several subdivisions. Mark holds the Certified Graduate Builder and Graduate Master Builder designations from the NAHB, and has served on the MCBA Board of Directors for 15 years.
Since they have been members, G&S Homes has been proud to participate yearly in the MCBA Home Show and the Celebration of Showcase Homes.
Aaron Stolberg, MemberAaron Stolberg is President/co-owner of WS Homes and a Principle at Wininger/Stolberg Property Group.
Aaron was born and raised in Bloomington. He graduated from Northwestern University in 1998 where he majored in communications with a minor in economics. He was also a 4 year letter winner and captain of the Northwestern men’s soccer team. Aaron is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM). His met his wife Amy at Northwestern, and she completed a Masters degree in Speech and Language Pathology at Indiana University in 2004. She is a speech pathologist working locally in Bloomington.
Aaron's recent projects include: Renwick, Cameron Row at Renwick, Smithwood at Renwick, Jackson Mill at Canada Park, Springhill at Brighton Point, and Northern Manors.
Tammy works at Meadowwood Retirement Community. Tammy began her professional career in 1995 as a loan officer and started her title industry career with John Bethell Title in 2004.
Tammy is currently a board member for South Central Indiana Mortgage Bankers Association & Bloomington Board of Realtors Publications, Inc. and recent graduate from Indiana University Leadership Bloomington - Monroe County. Tammy is active with local networking groups and professional organizations. Being involved with her community both professionally and personally, helps her to maintain strong relationships with clients and to better understands their unique needs.
Tammy is a Bloomington native. She has two daughters: Haley and Jasmine.
