German American Bancorp Nailed It

Comment: German American Bank served as our primary sponsor for the Man-Up to Make a Difference event on May 3rd of this year.  Their $2500 sponsorship helped the Boys and Girls Clubs of Bloomington raise nearly $15,000 to support our Passport to Manhood program.  The young men served by this program will be paired with an adult mentor and exposed to a multi-week experience that will provide them with the knowledge and mentoring they will need to develop into productive, caring and responsible men.  The Club is forever grateful to German American Bank for their leadership and care. General Interiors Nailed It

When the Boys and Girls Clubs of Bloomington was struggling to find someone to build a deck on the back of their Art and Outdoor Education Building at Camp Rock, General Interiors stepped up and completed the task within three weeks!  Not only was the workmanship outstanding but all labor associated with the task was completed at NO CHARGE!  The Club was truly humbled by this selfless act of kindness.  Thank you General Interiors for giving our kids a place to grow and develop into the confident young people we need them to be. Bailey & Weiler Nailed It

Don Weiler and most of his family took on the Fast Frame weekend in June.  Don helped lead our volunteers in wall framing-- allowing us to frame an entire house in just one day.  His wife and daughter came the next day to assist our crews while Don drove yet another daughter to camp out of state. Unfortunately, Lisa's medical expertise was needed that day to address an accident on site-- she lived up to her reputation as one of Bloomington's best physicians!  All told, the Weilers were a huge part of our success at the Fast Frame. Carpets Plus ColorTile Nailed It

Carpets Plus and Color Tile (Kate) are awesome to work with.  Kate was so professional and helpful in picking out my new carpet.  When it came time to install the carpet, the installers she scheduled were the best.  I discovered an issue with the floor when the old carpet was pulled up and Kate went out of her way to find someone to fix it for me immediately.  The installers were here right after the repair was done to finish the job and couldn't have been nicer, or done a better job.  I would without hesitation recommend Kate and Carpets Plus to anyone and everyone. Jared came to my house to fix a kitchen drain problem and was very prompt and worked very efficiently and did a great job of keeping the area clean. Tommy D's Windows, Doors, and More Nailed It

I live at Meadowood and had a new window installed in my apartment bedroom.  Tommy D's is the company Meadowood uses and I was very satisfied with their work. They are polite and thoughful and do their work with as little disturbance as possible. They cleaned up nicely after they finished and left it in good shape - and - it is warmer in that room now! They were in the bedroom and kept the door shut and had drop clothes around.  We spoke as they went through from out in the hall to do their chores.  They were very friendly and also very neat.  The workmanship looks very good. Habitat Re-Store Nailed It

Two different associates, Larry and Noma, from the ReStore in Bloomington Indiana completely nailed it for me and so quickly I felt my head spin!  I barely walked in the door when Noma greeted me and asked if she could help.  I told her I was looking for an office chair and that I saw some outside.  She immediately went out and priced the chairs for me and showed me the best one for my needs.  I was so happy that I found exactly what I wanted and instead of the usual looking for assistance like at the other stores, I had purchased my treasure in under two minutes! Then as I went to pay for the chair, I asked Larry if he knew of a place to purchase a product that the Re-Store does not offer. Within about 30 seconds, he found what I needed at a price that was so surprising I had to ask twice.
